About the event

Pauline Montemayor, MSW, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist in NJ & NY and is the owner of H.O.P.E Psychotherapy Services, LLC, a private psychotherapy practice located in Montclair, NJ. She is a graduate of Rutgers University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication with a double minor in Psychology and Sociology and later earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Pauline has had extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults in various therapeutic settings and has provided individual, group, family and couples therapy throughout her career. Pauline specializes in treating Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Behavioral/Anger Management Issues, Spiritual or Relationship Issues and Trauma. The majority of her professional work experience has been in providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents who are diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders, as well as with those who have special needs. She has worked collaboratively with various school districts and community agencies and understands many of the common challenges that today’s youth are facing, whether it be in the educational, home, or community setting. She has also worked extensively with parents in providing psychoeducation and parenting skills training to help strengthen and improve family communication, dynamics and relationships. Pauline is a passionate advocate for mental health and wellness. She truly enjoys her work in helping others to overcome life's challenges and also understands and believes in the value of helping and investing in today's youth. She continues to work daily in helping kids (and adults) to recognize and maximize their full potential and create bright and hopeful futures ahead.
